ทีมนักวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์น้ำมัน กลุ่ม ปตท. (PRISM Expert) ร่วมกับ กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมโรงกลั่นน้ำมันปิโตรเลียม สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย คาดการณ์ราคาน้ำมันดิบดูไบปี 2564 อยู่ที่ 45 – 55 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ ต่อบาร์เรล ปรับตัวสูงขึ้นจากปี 2563 เนื่องด้วยสัญญาณบวกจากความก้าวหน้าการพัฒนาวัคซีนป้องกันเชื้อไวรัส COVID-19 การออกมาตรการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของนานาประเทศ และแนวโน้มการใช้พลังงานทดแทน อย่างไรก็ตามทีมนักวิเคราะห์มองว่า การฟื้นตัวของตลาดน้ำมันยังคงมีความเสี่ยง หากการแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัส COVID-19 เกิดการระบาดต่อเนื่องและยังไม่สามารถควบคุมได้ ทำให้ราคาน้ำมันดิบดูไบเคลื่อนไหวที่ระดับ 35 – 45 เหรียญสหรัฐฯ ต่อบาร์เรล
นายอรรถพล ฤกษ์พิบูลย์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) เป็นประธานเปิดงานสัมมนาออนไลน์ 2020 The Annual Petroleum Outlook Forum ภายใต้หัวข้อ “The Great Reset : เมื่อโรคปฏิวัติโลก… เจาะลึกจุดเปลี่ยนโลกพลังงาน” ซึ่งทีมนักวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์น้ำมันของ กลุ่ม ปตท. หรือ PRISM Expert ร่วมกับ กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมโรงกลั่นน้ำมันปิโตรเลียม สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย จัดขึ้น เพื่อนำเสนอทิศทางและแนวโน้มราคาน้ำมันในตลาดโลก รวมถึงความท้าทายของพลังงานในอนาคตที่เราต้องเผชิญ เพื่อมุ่งสู่การสร้างพลังงานที่ยั่งยืนให้กับประเทศ ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ทั้งต่อภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน นักการเงินการธนาคาร สถาบันการศึกษา สื่อมวลชน และบุคคลทั่วไป

นายบัณฑิต ธรรมประจำจิต ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมโรงกลั่นน้ำมันปิโตรเลียม เผยถึงทิศทางของตลาดน้ำมันโลก ว่า “COVID-19 เป็น “The Great Reset หรือ จุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญ” ที่ทำให้ความต้องการใช้น้ำมันในปี 2563 ปรับลดลงมากที่สุดเป็นประวัติกาล ส่งผลให้หลายฝ่ายรวมถึงผู้ส่งออกน้ำมันรายใหญ่ของโลกรวมตัวกันเพื่อหาทางรักษาสมดุลให้กับตลาดน้ำมัน โดยปัจจัยสำคัญที่จะช่วยกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจโลกให้ฟื้นตัวได้อย่างรวดเร็ว คือ การผลิตวัคซีนป้องกัน COVID-19 รวมถึงมาตรการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของแต่ละประเทศ และนโยบายการแก้ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนที่มีบทบาทสำคัญ เพื่อช่วยสร้างสมดุลการเติบโตเศรษฐกิจในอนาคต”

PTT Group together with Petroleum Refining Industry Club (FTI) predicts oil prices for the year 2021
PTT Group Oil Situation Analysts (PRISM Expert) together with the Petroleum Refinery Industry Club of Federation of Thai Industries forecast Dubai crude oil price 2021 at 45-55 USD per barrel higher than 2020 due to positive promise from the advancement of the COVID-19 vaccine development, the international economic stimulus measures and renewable energy trend. However, the analyst team sees that the recovery of the oil market is still at risk doubting the fact that COVID-19 outbreak should continue and becomes difficult to control, Dubai crude prices would maintain at 35- 45 US dollar per barrel.
