ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ประกาศแต่งตั้ง นายธนพจน์ ภาคสุวรรณ ดำรงตำแหน่ง รองผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร กลุ่มธุรกิจ Wholesale ดูแลรับผิดชอบงานทางด้านลูกค้าธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ ครอบคลุมการให้บริการลูกค้าองค์กรและสถาบัน พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ทางการเงินและการลงทุนเพื่อสร้างการเติบโตและส่งเสริมความมั่งคั่งสำหรับลูกค้ารายใหญ่ ให้สอดคล้องกับการดำเนินกลยุทธ์ Digital Bank with Human Touch ของธนาคาร มีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 18 ธันวาคม 2566 เป็นต้นไป
นายกฤษณ์ จันทโนทก ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ กล่าวว่า “ธนาคารให้ความสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการขยายตัวเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทย ผ่านการสนับสนุนภาคธุรกิจองค์กรขนาดใหญ่ให้รักษาการเติบโตในทุกสภาวะเศรษฐกิจ โดยมีกลุ่มธุรกิจ Wholesale หรือกลุ่มธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ ทำหน้าที่สนับสนุนและคอยให้ความช่วยเหลือลูกค้าองค์กร ให้ดำเนินธุรกิจตามเป้าหมายในทุกสถานการณ์ และเพื่อเป็นการรองรับกิจกรรมเศรษฐกิจที่กำลังฟื้นตัว ธนาคารจึงได้แต่งตั้ง นายธนพจน์
ภาคสุวรรณ ดำรงตำแหน่ง รองผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร กลุ่มธุรกิจ Wholesale ดูแลรับผิดชอบการกำหนดกลยุทธ์การดำเนินงานกลุ่มธุรกิจ Wholesale เพื่อยกระดับประสิทธิภาพการให้บริการลูกค้าธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ให้เป็นไปตามกลยุทธ์ Digital Bank with Human Touch โดยมีความเชื่อมั่นว่า นายธนพจน์จะนำความเชี่ยวชาญและประสบการณ์ในการดูแลลูกค้าธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 30 ปี มาช่วยส่งเสริมความแข็งแกร่ง และรักษาการเติบโตให้กับธุรกิจ Wholesale ในภาวะที่เศรษฐกิจกำลังเผชิญความท้าทายจากปัจจัยรอบด้านได้อย่างแน่นอน”
นายธนพจน์ จะเป็นผู้นำทัพในการขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานของกลุ่มธุรกิจ Wholesale ธนาคาร ไทยพาณิชย์ ครอบคลุมการวางกลยุทธ์และแผนดำเนินงานเพื่อบริหารความสัมพันธ์กลุ่มลูกค้าธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ และทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และนวัตกรรมทางการเงินอันหลากหลายเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการ และสนับสนุนความมั่งคั่งให้แก่ลูกค้าธุรกิจโดยเฉพาะ อาทิ ให้คำปรึกษาทางด้านการเงิน การระดมทุนในรูปแบบต่างๆ การขยายโอกาสตลาดใหม่ๆ ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ พร้อมกับสร้างโอกาสทางธุรกิจผ่านลูกค้ารายใหม่ ตลอดจนการสร้างระบบนิเวศน์เพื่อยกระดับประสิทธิภาพการดำเนินงานของธุรกิจ และสนับสนุนการเติบโตของกลุ่มลูกค้าธุรกิจ รวมทั้งพัฒนาศักยภาพของบุคลากรในกลุ่มธุรกิจ ให้เท่าทันกับบริบทใหม่ของเศรษฐกิจและสังคมที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลง อาทิ การปรับตัวทางด้านดิจิทัล และนโยบายความยั่งยืน เป็นต้น
นายธนพจน์ มีประสบการณ์การทำงานในแวดวงการเงินมากว่า 30 ปี โดยมีความเชี่ยวชาญทางด้านธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ในทุกมิติ ครอบคลุมตั้งแต่การดูแลลูกค้าธุรกิจ สินเชื่อธุรกิจ บริการวาณิชธนกิจ และการระดมทุนในตลาดต่างประเทศ ด้วยประสบการณ์ในการทำงานร่วมกับบรรษัทข้ามชาติรายใหญ่ จึงมีความเข้าใจในความต้องการทางการเงินและวางโครงสร้างขยายการเติบโตของธุรกิจองค์กรเป็นอย่างดี โดยก่อนที่จะมาร่วมงานกับธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ นายธนพจน์เคยดำรงตำแหน่ง รองกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ฝ่ายลูกค้าธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่และวาณิชธนกิจ ธนาคารซิตี้แบงก์ ประเทศไทย และยังเคยทำงานกับธนาคารเอชเอสบีซี ประเทศไทย ดำรงตำแหน่งสูงสุดเป็น Managing Director, Head of Global Banking
นายธนพจน์ จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท บริหารธุรกิจ จากสถาบันบัณฑิตบริหารธุรกิจศศินทร์แห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และ ปริญญาตรี สาขาเศรษฐศาสตร์ จากมหาวิทยาลัยแมสซาชูเซตส์ แอมเฮิร์สต์

Siam Commercial Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tanapot Parksuwan as Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Wholesale Banking Officer, overseeing large corporations and institutional clients. Mr. Tanapot will play a pivotal role in developing financial and investment products that foster growth and wealth creation for the Bank’s esteemed clients, aligning with the implementation of the Bank’s Digital Bank with a Human Touch strategy. This appointment is effective from December 18, 2023.
Mr. Kris Chantanotoke, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Commercial Bank, noted that “The Bank places great emphasis on driving Thailand’s economic expansion by actively supporting the large corporate business sector to ensure sustained growth in all economic conditions. The Wholesale Business Group plays a crucial role in providing support and assistance to corporate customers, enabling them to navigate various business scenarios and contribute to the recovery of economic activities. In line with this commitment, the Bank has appointed Mr. Tanapot Parksuwan to the position of Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Wholesale Banking Officer. He will be tasked with formulating operational strategies for the Wholesale Business Group to enhance the efficiency of serving large business customers, aligning with the Digital Bank with a Human Touch strategy. With over 30 years of experience in catering to the needs of large business customers, the Bank is confident that Mr. Tanapot will bring valuable expertise to the role. His wealth of experience is expected to contribute significantly to fortifying the wholesale business, ensuring its resilience and growth during a challenging economic period marked by external factors.”
Mr. Tanapot will lead the team responsible for steering the operations of SCB’s Wholesale Business Group. His leadership will encompass strategic planning and operational initiatives focused on managing relationships with large corporate customers. Additionally, he will collaborate with relevant bank units to foster the development of diverse financial products and innovations, addressing the specific needs of business customers. This includes offering financial advice, facilitating fundraising in various forms, and exploring new market opportunities both domestically and internationally. Moreover, he aims to create business opportunities through acquiring new customers and establishing an ecosystem that enhances operational efficiency, supporting the growth of corporate customers. This initiative also involves developing the potential of personnel within the Wholesale Business Group to adapt to the evolving economic and social landscape, including considerations for digital adaptation and sustainability policies.
With a remarkable career spanning over 30 years in the financial industry, Mr. Tanapot will bring extensive expertise across various facets, including corporate customers, corporate finance, investment banking services, and fundraising in offshore markets. His experience includes collaborating with large multinational corporations, providing him with a profound understanding of their financial needs and structures to drive the growth of the institutional banking business. Prior to joining Siam Commercial Bank, Mr. Tanapot held the position Managing Director, Head of Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory at Citibank Thailand. He also played a pivotal role at HSBC Bank Thailand, where he held the highest position as Managing Director, Head of Global Banking.
Mr. Tanapot holds an MBA in finance from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
