บริษัท ปตท.สำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียม หรือ ปตท.สผ. จัดกิจกรรม From We to World Planting Day 2023 “เพาะ” ความสุข “ปลูก” ความยั่งยืน เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 38 ปี โดยผู้บริหารและพนักงาน ได้ร่วมปลูกต้นไม้ในหลายพื้นที่กว่า 7,600 ต้น เพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวเพื่อการดูดซับก๊าซเรือนกระจกและลดภาวะโลกร้อน เพื่อส่งต่อความยั่งยืนให้กับสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม
กิจกรรม From We to World Planting Day 2023 จัดขึ้น ณ สวนศรีนครเขื่อนขันธ์ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และในพื้นที่ปฏิบัติการของ ปตท.สผ. ได้แก่ โครงการเอส 1 จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร โครงการพีทีทีอีพี 1 จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี โครงการสินภูฮ่อม จังหวัดอุดรธานี โครงการฐานสนับสนุนการพัฒนาปิโตรเลียม จังหวัดสงขลา และโครงการฐานสนับสนุนการพัฒนาปิโตรเลียม จังหวัดระนอง
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแนวทาง EP Net Zero ของ ปตท.สผ. ซึ่งตั้งเป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ ภายในปี 2593 โดยหนึ่งในแนวทางดังกล่าว คือการเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวด้วยการปลูกป่าบกและป่าชายเลน โดยมีเป้าหมายในการดูดซับก๊าซเรือนกระจกสะสมกว่า 2 ล้านตันในปี 2593

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP organized “From We to World Planting Day 2023” to mark its 38th anniversary. Executives, along with the staff, joined forces to plant over 7,600 trees, aiming to expand green areas to absorb carbon dioxide and address the concerns of global warming, which will eventually promote social and environmental sustainability.
The “From We to World Planting Day 2023” activity was held at Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park, Samut Prakan as well as other PTTEP operating areas in Thailand; S1 Project in Kamphaeng Phet, PTTEP 1 Project in Suphan Buri, Sinphuhorm Project in Udon Thani, and Petroleum Development Support Base (PSB) in Songkhla and Ranong.
Such activity was part of the company’s EP Net Zero concept to support Thailand’s targets of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2065. Increasing green space through terrestrial and mangrove forests is one of the pathways to reach the target of absorbing more than 2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions in 2050.
