ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ประกาศแต่งตั้ง กฤษณ์ จันทโนทก ดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารคนใหม่ นำทัพเสริมความแข็งแกร่ง และสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน มีผล 1 ส.ค. 2565
ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ประกาศแต่งตั้งนายกฤษณ์ จันทโนทก ขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (มหาชน) คนใหม่ มีผลในวันที่ 1 สิงหาคม 2565
ดร.วิชิต สุรพงษ์ชัย นายกรรมการ ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (มหาชน) กล่าวว่า “ภายหลังการประกาศปรับโครงสร้างองค์กรครั้งใหญ่ และได้รับมติอนุมัติจากที่ประชุมผู้ถือหุ้นธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (มหาชน) เมื่อปลายปี 2564 ที่ผ่านมา เพื่อให้การบริหารจัดการของกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินไทยพาณิชย์บรรลุเป้าหมายตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์ยานแม่ ที่มุ่งยกระดับสู่การเป็นกลุ่มบริษัทเทคโนโลยีทางการเงินระดับภูมิภาคตามที่ได้วางไว้ คณะกรรมการธนาคารจึงได้มีการพิจารณาปรับผู้บริหารระดับสูงให้สอดคล้องกับโครงสร้างใหม่ของธุรกิจ เพื่อให้การบริหารงานมีความต่อเนื่อง และเป็นไปตามหลักการกำกับดูแลกิจการที่ดี โดยมีมติจากที่ประชุมเมื่อวันที่21 มกราคม 2565 แต่งตั้งคุณกฤษณ์ จันทโนทก ขึ้นเป็นประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ซึ่งได้รับความเห็นชอบจากธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทยเป็นที่เรียบร้อย ทั้งนี้ การดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารธนาคารของคุณกฤษณ์ จะมีผลในวันที่ 1 สิงหาคม 2565 ที่จะถึงนี้”
“คุณกฤษณ์ เป็นผู้มีความเหมาะสมและมากด้วยประสบการณ์ คร่ำหวอดในแวดวงธุรกิจการเงินการธนาคาร ธุรกิจบริหารความมั่งคั่ง รวมถึงธุรกิจประกัน โดยก่อนจะมาร่วมงานกับธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ คุณกฤษณ์ดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท เอไอเอ ประเทศไทย จำกัด และเป็นผู้นำรุ่นใหม่ที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ที่ประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างสูงด้วยการนำเทคโนโลยีมาสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงให้กับธุรกิจตลอดมา คุณกฤษณ์จะนำเอาความรู้ ความเชี่ยวชาญ ตลอดจนความเข้าใจในธุรกิจอย่างลึกซึ้งมาช่วยสานต่อแผนยุทธศาสตร์ของธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ในการเป็นธนาคารที่ดียิ่งขึ้น หรือ To Be A Better Bank ได้อย่างแข็งแกร่ง และสามารถสร้างการเติบโตแบบยั่งยืนให้กับธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ต่อไป” ดร.วิชิต กล่าว
ดร. วิชิต กล่าวต่อว่า “ภายใต้โครงสร้างการบริหารจัดการใหม่นี้ คุณอาทิตย์ นันทวิทยา จะพ้นจากการเป็นประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ในวันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2565 และยังคงดำรงตำแหน่ง ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท เอสซีบี เอกซ์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ส่วนผู้จัดการใหญ่ของธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ 3 ท่าน ได้แก่ คุณสารัชต์ รัตนาภรณ์ คุณอภิพันธ์ เจริญอนุสรณ์ และดร.อารักษ์ สุธีวงศ์ จะพ้นจากตำแหน่งผู้จัดการใหญ่ของธนาคาร ในวันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2565 ซึ่งปัจจุบันผู้จัดการใหญ่ทั้ง 3 ท่านดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของบริษัทในกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินไทยพาณิชย์ ได้แก่ บริษัท คาร์ด เอกซ์ จำกัด บริษัท ออโต้ เอกซ์ จำกัด และบริษัทหลักทรัพย์ ไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด ตามลำดับ”
สำหรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงผู้บริหารระดับสูงครั้งนี้ เพื่อมุ่งเน้นภารกิจสำคัญในการนำพากลุ่มไทยพาณิชย์สร้างมูลค่าจากธุรกิจใหม่ให้มีขนาดที่มีนัยยะสำคัญ รวมถึงการสร้างฐานลูกค้าในระบบให้ได้ 200 ล้านคน พร้อมทั้งนำพาธุรกิจของกลุ่มฯ ออกสู่ต่างประเทศ และการเป็นเจ้าของแพลตฟอร์มทางเทคโนโลยีขนาดใหญ่ที่มีผู้ใช้งานจำนวนมาก เพื่อยกระดับองค์กรสู่กลุ่มบริษัทเทคโนโลยีทางการเงินระดับภูมิภาค ที่สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการใหม่ของผู้บริโภค และสามารถแข่งขันกับคู่แข่งระดับโลกได้อย่างทัดเทียมและทันท่วงทีตามเป้าหมายที่ได้วางไว้

Kris Chantanotoke named new SCB CEO effective August 1, 2022 to strengthen and create sustainable growth
Siam Commercial Bank announced the appointment of Mr. Kris Chantanotoke as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2022.
Dr. Vichit Suraphongchai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Siam Commercial Bank is delighted to announce that, “Following the announcement of the Bank’s major transformation, which was approved by shareholders at the end of 2021, SCB’s Board of Directors considered reorganizing senior management to align with the new business structure and to ensure management continuity in accordance with good corporate governance principles. To enable the SCB Financial Group’s management to accomplish the objectives outlined in the mothership strategic plan, including the planned transformation into a regional financial technology group, the Board of Directors meeting on January 21, 2022 resolved to appoint Mr. Kris Chantanotoke as its new Chief Executive Officer. The appointment has already been endorsed by the Bank of Thailand and will be effective on August 1, 2022.”
“Mr. Kris is a very qualified and experienced individual with vast expertise in the banking and finance industry, wealth management, and insurance business. Prior to joining SCB, he was the Chief Executive Officer of AIA Thailand Co., Ltd. “Under this new management structure, Mr. Arthid Nanthawithaya will resign as Chief Executive Officer of SCB on July 31, 2022 but will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of SCBX Public Company Limited. The three current SCB Presidents, Mr. Sarut Ruttanaporn, Mrs. Apiphan Charoenanusorn, and Dr. Arak Sutivong, will also step down from their positions on July 31, 2022. Currently, they serve as the CEOs of SCB Financial Group companies Card X Co., Ltd., Auto X Co., Ltd., and SCB Securities Co., Ltd., respectively.”
“This change in senior management has been carried out to ensure that the SCB Group remains focused on its purpose of generating significant corporate value through new businesses. It will enable the organization to expand its customer base to 200 million, while also expanding new businesses in foreign countries and owning a huge technology platform with a large number of users. The initiative intends to transform the firm into a regional financial technology group capable of meeting new consumer needs and able to compete effectively with global players.” concluded Dr. Vichit.
