เศรษฐกิจต้องโต อนาคตต้องยั่งยืน กฟผ. ร่วมผลักดัน Sustainomy บนเวที FUTUREADY 2026 ร่วมกับเหล่าผู้นำทั้งในไทยและต่างประเทศ
การไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฟผ.) เข้าร่วมงาน FUTUREADY 2026 ในฐานะพันธมิตร ร่วมกับองค์กรชั้นนำทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ โดยงานจัดขึ้นโดย BRANDi Institute of Systematic Transformation (BiOST) ร่วมกับ บริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรจ จำกัด (มหาชน) ณ BRANDi and Companies HopeQuarter ซึ่งรวบรวมผู้นำระดับสูงจากภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อร่วมผลักดันแนวคิด “Sustainomy” กรอบเศรษฐกิจใหม่ที่มุ่งเชื่อมโยงการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจกับอนาคตที่ยั่งยืนอย่างเป็นระบบ
ดร. นรินทร์ เผ่าวณิช ผู้ว่าการ กฟผ. ร่วมเสวนาในเวที FUTUREADY Dinner Thought ภายใต้ประเด็น “Geoeconomic Context: Mobilizing Capital and Resolving Conflict” โดยได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองร่วมกับผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากหลากหลายสาขา อาทิ Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator to China; Ms. Melinda Good, World Bank Division Director for Thailand and Myanmar; และ Mr. Curtis S. Chin, Senior Advisor at the Milken Institute การสนทนาครอบคลุมประเด็นภูมิเศรษฐศาสตร์ การระดมทุน และการบริหารความเสี่ยง ท่ามกลางความผันผวนและความไม่แน่นอนของเศรษฐกิจโลก
ดร. นรินทร์ได้กล่าวถึงความท้าทายด้านพลังงานในบริบทของ “Energy Trilemma” ซึ่งโลกกำลังแสวงหาจุดสมดุล (Equilibrium) ระหว่าง 3 มิติสำคัญ ได้แก่ ความมั่นคงด้านพลังงาน (Security) ความสามารถในการเข้าถึงได้ (Affordability) และความยั่งยืน (Sustainability) โดยชี้ให้เห็นว่าการบรรลุทั้งสามมิติพร้อมกันยังคงเป็นความท้าทายสำหรับประเทศไทย เนื่องจากการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกต้องดำเนินการภายใต้ต้นทุนที่เหมาะสม ขณะที่เทคโนโลยีเกิดใหม่ เช่น ไฮโดรเจน และระบบดักจับและกักเก็บคาร์บอน (CCS) ยังมีต้นทุนสูง การเพิ่มสัดส่วนพลังงานหมุนเวียนจำเป็นต้องลงทุนในโครงสร้างพื้นฐานเพิ่มเติม รวมถึงโครงสร้างอัตราค่าไฟฟ้าที่ส่งผลต่อการกระจายต้นทุนในระบบพลังงานโดยรวม
แนวทางสำคัญในการก้าวข้ามความท้าทายดังกล่าว ได้แก่ การกระจายแหล่งเชื้อเพลิงและจัดสมดุลส่วนผสมพลังงาน การเร่งพัฒนาพลังงานสะอาด การยกระดับโครงข่ายไฟฟ้าให้ทันสมัย ตลอดจนการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและปัญญาประดิษฐ์เพื่อเสริมความมั่นคงและความยืดหยุ่นของระบบ ทั้งนี้ ความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ผู้ผลิตไฟฟ้า และภาคอุตสาหกรรมมีบทบาทสำคัญในการผลักดันการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานให้เกิดขึ้นอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและสมดุล
ดร. นรินทร์ยังเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของผู้ใช้ไฟฟ้า โดยพลังงานต้องสามารถเข้าถึงได้ในราคาที่เหมาะสม การส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพจึงเป็นกลไกสำคัญ อาทิ โครงการ “ฉลากประหยัดไฟฟ้าเบอร์ 5” ของ กฟผ. ที่สนับสนุนการเลือกใช้อุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าประสิทธิภาพสูง พร้อมย้ำว่า “พลังงานที่ถูกที่สุด คือพลังงานที่ไม่ถูกใช้โดยสูญเปล่า”
ในมุมมองต่อการลงทุนด้านพลังงานหมุนเวียน ดร. นรินทร์ชี้ให้เห็นว่า ผู้นำจำเป็นต้องกำหนดลำดับความสำคัญอย่างรอบด้าน โดยการลงทุนควรถูกตั้งคำถามว่า จะสามารถสร้างงานภายในประเทศ เสริมสร้างห่วงโซ่อุปทานเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ และวางตำแหน่งประเทศไทยให้มีบทบาทในตลาดพลังงานแห่งอนาคตได้หรือไม่
นอกจากนี้ ไม่อาจหลีกเลี่ยงมิติด้าน “คน” ได้ เพราะการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานที่เป็นธรรม (Just Transition) มีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่ง แม้ว่าการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานอาจทำให้ต้นทุนเพิ่มขึ้นในระยะสั้น แต่ในระยะยาวต้นทุนมีแนวโน้มลดลง จึงจำเป็นต้องสื่อสารอย่างโปร่งใสกับผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียทุกภาคส่วน ท้ายที่สุด ทุกการตัดสินใจควรถูกประเมินจากความสามารถในการเสริมสร้างความยืดหยุ่นของระบบ ลดต้นทุนการดำเนินงานในระยะยาว และสร้างความมั่นคงทางพลังงาน
การเข้าร่วม FUTUREADY 2026 ในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนบทบาทของ กฟผ. ในการขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจควบคู่กับความมั่นคงด้านพลังงานและความยั่งยืน ตามแนวคิดของ Sustainomy เพื่อสร้างรากฐานการพัฒนาที่สมดุลและมั่นคงในระยะยาวให้กับประเทศไทย

EGAT Joins National and Global Leaders to Champion “Sustainomy” at FUTUREADY 2026
The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) participated in FUTUREADY 2026 as an event partner, joining leading organizations from Thailand and abroad. The event was organized by the BRANDi Institute of Systematic Transformation (BiOST) in collaboration with Thai Beverage Public Company Limited at BRANDi and Companies HopeQuarter. It convened high-level leaders from the public and private sectors, as well as international organizations, to advance “Sustainomy,” a new economic framework that systematically connects economic growth with a sustainable future.
On this occasion, Dr. Narin Phoawanich, Governor of EGAT, was honored to participate as a distinguished speaker at the FUTUREADY Dinner Thought under the discussion topic “Geoeconomic Context: Mobilizing Capital and Resolving Conflict.” He exchanged perspectives with prominent international leaders from diverse fields, including Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator to China; Ms. Melinda Good, World Bank Division Director for Thailand and Myanmar; and Mr. Curtis S. Chin, Senior Advisor at the Milken Institute. The dialogue explored geoeconomic dynamics, capital mobilization strategies, and risk management amid heightened global volatility and economic uncertainty.
During the discussion, Dr. Narin highlighted the energy challenges within the context of the “Energy Trilemma,” as the world seeks an equilibrium among three critical dimensions: energy security, affordability, and sustainability. He noted that achieving all three simultaneously remains complex for Thailand. Decarbonization must be pursued at reasonable cost, while emerging technologies such as hydrogen and carbon capture and storage (CCS) remain expensive. Expanding renewable energy requires additional infrastructure investment, and tariff structures continue to influence how costs are distributed across the overall energy system.
Key pathways to overcoming these challenges include diversifying fuel sources and maintaining a balanced energy mix, accelerating clean energy development, modernizing power grids, and leveraging digital technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance system stability and resilience. Collaboration among governments, power producers, and industry stakeholders plays a vital role in ensuring an effective and balanced energy transition.
Dr. Narin further emphasized the importance of consumers, noting that energy must remain accessible at reasonable cost. Promoting energy efficiency is therefore a critical mechanism, exemplified by EGAT’s “Label No. 5” initiative, which encourages the use of high-efficiency electrical appliances. As he stated, “The cheapest energy is the energy that is not wasted.”
In his perspective on renewable energy investment, Dr. Narin emphasized that leaders must set priorities comprehensively. Investment decisions should be evaluated based on whether they can generate domestic employment, strengthen strategic supply chains, and position Thailand to play a meaningful role in the future energy market.
He further underscored that the “people” dimension cannot be overlooked. A Just Transition is essential to ensure that the energy transition is inclusive and equitable. While the transition may increase costs in the short term, costs are expected to decline over the longer term. Transparent communication with stakeholders across all sectors is therefore crucial. Ultimately, every decision should be assessed based on its ability to enhance system resilience, reduce long-term operational costs, and strengthen energy security.
EGAT’s participation in FUTUREADY 2026 reflects its role in advancing economic growth alongside energy security and sustainability, in line with the Sustainomy framework, to build a balanced and resilient foundation for Thailand’s long-term development.
