“เชฟรอนสุขอาสา” ร่วมกับศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ธรรมชาติ เดินหน้าสร้างผืนป่าชุมชนนครนายกสานการมีส่วนร่วมทุกภาคส่วน เพิ่มพื้นที่ป่าดูดซับคาร์บอน
บริษัท เชฟรอนประเทศไทยสำรวจและผลิต จำกัด บริษัท เชฟรอน (ไทย) จํากัด และ บริษัท สตาร์ ปิโตรเลียม รีไฟน์นิ่ง จำกัด (มหาชน) นำพนักงานกว่า 100 คน จากทั้ง 3 องค์กร ร่วมกิจกรรม “เชฟรอนสุขอาสา” (Together We Volunteer) ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมที่จัดขึ้นร่วมกับศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ธรรมชาติ นครนายก ในพื้นที่ของนางสาวอุไรวรรณ ใจสงัด โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการปลูกป่า สร้างความรู้และการมีส่วนร่วมของทุกภาคส่วนในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม มุ่งสู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำอย่างยั่งยืน
โดยผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทั้งพนักงานเชฟรอน อาสาสมัครจากเครือข่ายอาสาศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ธรรมชาติ คนมีใจจากมูลนิธิกสิกรรมธรรมชาติ และตัวแทนชุมชน ได้ร่วมกันปลูกต้นไม้กว่า 500 ต้น ตามแนวคิด “ป่า 3 อย่าง ประโยชน์ 4 อย่าง” หรือการปลูกไม้ใช้สอย ไม้กินได้ และไม้เศรษฐกิจ ที่นอกจากจะช่วยสร้างพื้นที่สีเขียวที่ช่วยกักเก็บก๊าซ คาร์บอนไดอ็อกไซด์ เป็นปอดให้คนในพื้นที่แล้ว ยังเป็นผืนป่าที่คนในชุมชนสามารถมาใช้ประโยชน์ได้ นอกจากนั้น ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยังได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับวิถีกสิกรรมธรรมชาติ ที่สามารถนำมาปรับใช้ได้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ทั้งการทำปุ๋ยชีวภาพ การทำน้ำยาล้างจาน และการทำน้ำยาอเนกประสงค์
นายอรรจน์ ตุลารักษ์ รองประธานกรรมการบริหาร ฝ่ายโครงการร่วมทุน บริษัท เชฟรอนประเทศไทยสำรวจและผลิต จำกัด กล่าวว่า “เชฟรอนดำเนินภารกิจสนับสนุนความมั่นคงทางพลังงานให้กับประเทศไทยมากว่า 6 ทศวรรษ ด้วยเป้าหมายระยะยาวในการจัดหาพลังงานที่สะอาด ปลอดภัย และเชื่อถือได้ให้กับประเทศไทย เพื่อสนับสนุนวิสัยทัศน์ของประเทศในการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่พลังงานที่สะอาดมากขึ้น และลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกให้เป็นศูนย์ หรือ Net Zero โดยกิจกรรมเชฟรอนสุขอาสาในวันนี้ เป็นการสนับสนุนให้พนักงานและชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมในการเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียว ที่จะช่วยทั้งดูดซับก๊าซคาร์บอนไดอ็อกไซด์ เพิ่มความชื้นในอากาศ เพิ่มออกซิเจน และลดมลพิษในอากาศ โดยนอกจากการปลูกต้นไม้กว่า 500 ต้นในพื้นที่กว่า 30 ไร่ของคุณอุไรวรรณ บุคคลต้นแบบที่ต้องการพัฒนาพื้นที่ของตัวเองให้เป็นป่าที่สร้างสรรค์ประโยชน์ให้ชุมชนแล้ว ยังเป็นการสร้างความรู้และการมีส่วนร่วมของทุกภาคส่วนในการร่วมปลูก อนุรักษ์ และอยู่ร่วมกับป่าได้อย่างยั่งยืน”
อาจารย์ปัญญา ปุลิเวคินทร์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ธรรมชาติ ผู้ทุ่มเทแรงกายและแรงใจเพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้ในด้านวิถีกสิกรรมธรรมชาติและเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง กล่าวถึงการสานพลังความร่วมมือว่า “ศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ฯ เน้นหลักสูตรกสิกรรมธรรมชาติที่ช่วยเหลือเกษตรกรให้สามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้ โดยที่ตั้งของศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ฯ เดิมเป็นผืนดินของพระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 9 ที่ทรงมุ่งพลิกผืนดินแห่งนี้สู่พิพิธภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติที่มีชีวิต ผ่านการบริหารจัดการดิน น้ำ ป่า ให้ผู้ที่มาเยี่ยมเยือนได้เห็นความสำเร็จที่พิสูจน์ได้จริง ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าการจะพัฒนาศูนย์ภูมิรักษ์ธรรมชาติสู่เป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ได้นั้น ในฐานะผู้อำนวยการ จึงได้มุ่งผสานพลังความร่วมมือจากหลากหลายภาคส่วน ส่วนราชการ ฝ่ายวิชาการ ภาคประชาชน และภาคเอกชนอย่างเชฟรอน ที่ได้ช่วยประสานงานต่างๆ ให้คล่องตัวยิ่งขึ้น และท้ายที่สุดคือภาคสื่อมวลชน โดยหน้าที่ของเราคือการประสานงานทุกภาคส่วนให้ทำงานเคียงข้างกันเพื่อเผยแพร่แนวทางเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงเพื่อความยั่งยืนสู่สังคม สะท้อนความหมายของ ‘ภูมิรักษ์’ ที่หมายถึงผืนแผ่นดินที่รักษาธรรมชาติจากรุ่นสู่รุ่น”
เชฟรอนสุขอาสา เป็นกิจกรรมที่เชฟรอนได้จัดขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2556 เพื่อสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมของพนักงานในการสร้างสรรค์ประโยชน์ให้กับสังคม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการสนับสนุนการศึกษา อนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมและพลังงาน และการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและคุณภาพชีวิตของคนไทย โดยในแต่ละปี เชฟรอนได้ร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ วิชาการ และภาคสังคม ในการพาพนักงานหลายร้อยคนของบริษัทฯ ไปร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ อาทิ การปลูกป่า ปล่อยพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำ และพัฒนาโรงเรียนและสนามเด็กเล่น เพื่อตอกย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของบริษัทฯ ในการเป็นพันธมิตรที่ดีต่อสังคมไทยและสานพันธกิจในการจัดหาพลังงานที่ยั่งยืนเพื่อช่วยขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของประเทศมายาวนานกว่า 60 ปี

Chevron collaborates with Bhumirak Dhamachart Natural Center to foster community-led forest development in Nakhon Nayok Volunteer program empowers locals to cultivate and manage forests, enhancing green spaces for a lower carbon society
Over a hundred employees from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., Chevron (Thailand) Ltd., and Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited (SPRC), recently joined the “Together We Volunteer” activity in Nakhon Nayok province. The collaborative effort involving the companies, the Bhumirak Dhamachart Natural Center and Uraiwan Jaisa-ngad, was focused on the creation of a community forest and fostering engagement among all stakeholders to promote a more sustainable and lower carbon society.
The participants in the activity joined forces to plant over 500 trees, adhering to the “Three Forests, Four Benefits” philosophy. This approach encompasses cultivating plants that provide lumber, edible goods, and commercial timber. The resulting forest will contribute valuable green spaces, facilitating carbon dioxide absorption, the generation of fresh air, and the provision of a communal area. In addition to tree planting, participants had the opportunity to acquire Agri-nature knowledge applicable to their daily lives, including the production of biofertilizers, organic dishwasher liquid, and multipurpose liquid solutions.
Ajj Tularak Vice President, Non-Operated Joint Venture, of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. said that “For over six decades, Chevron has been unwavering in its commitment to support the nation’s energy security by providing cleaner, safer, and reliable energy supply. We tirelessly work towards supporting the country’s energy transition and its pursuit of Net Zero goal. Today, through the “Together We Volunteer” activity, we engage our employees and the local community in the creation of an additional green space. This space will play a role in sequestering carbon dioxide, increasing atmospheric humidity, generating oxygen, and mitigating air pollution. On this occasion, we are planting 500 trees on a 30-rai piece of land owned by Uraiwan, an example of individuals who generously offer their land to benefit the community. This endeavor also serves to raise awareness and encourage people to actively participate in nurturing, preserving, and coexisting harmoniously with our precious forests.”
Punya Pulivekin, Director of the Bhumirak Dhamachart Natural Center Project, who dedicate his life in spreading the agri-nature and sufficiency economy philosophies to local famers, said “The Bhumirak Dhamachart Natural Center Project focuses on natural agricultural programs that assist farmers in being self-sufficient. The original location of the Center was the land of King Rama IX, who aimed to transform this land into a living natural museum through sustainable land, water, and forest management. Visitors can witness real success that has been proven. To develop the Center towards its goal, as the director, I have aimed to harness the collaborative efforts of various sectors, including government, academia, the public, and private sectors such as Chevron. They have helped coordinate various activities to make our efforts more efficient. Lastly, the media also plays a crucial role. Our responsibility is to coordinate all sectors to work together to promote sustainable economic guidelines for the community, reflecting the meaning of ‘Bhumirak’ or ‘conservation,’ which refers to preserving nature from generation to generation.”
