นายรวี อ่างทอง ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายอาวุโส ฝ่ายสื่อสารและองค์การสัมพันธ์ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า ธนาคารกสิกรไทยมีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะส่งเสริมด้านการศึกษาและการพัฒนาศักยภาพของเยาวชนไทยจึงได้ดำเนินกิจกรรมภายใต้แบรนด์ AFTERKLASS มาอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อยกระดับทักษะของเยาวชนทั้งการเงิน อาชีพ และการเรียนรู้ ที่สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของเด็กและเยาวชนรุ่นใหม่ซึ่งมีมุมมองในการสร้างโอกาสในชีวิตและทางเลือกในอาชีพที่เปลี่ยนไป การเป็นผู้ประกอบการและการดำเนินธุรกิจกลายเป็นทางเลือกอันดับหนึ่งที่เด็กรุ่นใหม่ต้องการเวทีในการแสดงศักยภาพและความสามารถในการเป็นผู้ประกอบการ ซึ่งพบเห็นได้จากการแข่งขันสร้างไอเดียธุรกิจและนวัตกรรมสตาร์ทอัพ ในรูปแบบแฮคกาธอน (Hackathon) ที่มีแนวโน้มผู้เข้าร่วมเป็นเด็กมัธยมศึกษามากขึ้น
ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จึงได้จัดการแข่งขันแผนธุรกิจ STARTUP FOR BETTER SOCIETY HACKATHON 2022 ขึ้นในรูปแบบของ Bootcamp ค่ายเรียนรู้พื้นฐานสำคัญในการเขียนแผนธุรกิจ มีระยะเวลา 3 วัน พร้อมร่วมแข่งขันในรูปแบบ Hackathon ระดมความคิดสร้างสรรค์ไอเดียแผนธุรกิจสินค้าและบริการเพื่อสังคมที่น่าอยู่อย่างยั่งยืน ด้วยความเชื่อมั่นว่าหากประเทศมีระบบการศึกษาและสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีจะก่อให้เกิดบุคลากรที่มีความรู้ความสามารถที่จะเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการพัฒนาและนำพาสังคมและประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
น้อง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจะได้รับทั้งความรู้ ทักษะ และมุมมองจากผู้มีประสบการณ์ในการทำธุรกิจนวัตกรรมสตาร์ทอัพ การเรียนรู้ในหัวข้อที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้เทคโนโลยีในธุรกิจจากธนาคารกสิกรไทย และวิธีการสร้างธุรกิจที่มีแนวคิดเพื่อสร้างประโยชน์ให้กับสังคมจากนักธุรกิจและผู้มีประสบการณ์หลากหลายวงการ
คุณสมบัติของผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการต้องเป็นผู้ที่กำลังศึกษาในระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4-6 หรือเทียบเท่า ที่ไม่เคยเข้าร่วมโครงการปีที่ 1 และ 2 มาก่อน โดยจะทำการรับสมัครในรูปแบบทีมเท่านั้น ในแต่ละทีมจะประกอบด้วยสมาชิกทีมละ 4-5 คน ซึ่งต้องประกอบไปด้วยสมาชิกจากทั้งหมด 3 สาย ได้แก่ สาย Business วางแผนธุรกิจและการจัดการ สาย Tech พัฒนาระบบดิจิทัล และสาย Design ออกแบบเพื่อตอบโจทย์การใช้งานและความสวยงาม ทั้งนี้ สมาชิกในทีมไม่จำเป็นต้องอยู่ในโรงเรียนเดียวกัน เปิดรับสมัครตั้งแต่วันนี้ – 27 สิงหาคม 2565 และพบกับกิจกรรม Hackathon Kamp Day วันที่ 26-28 ตุลาคม 2565 ผู้ที่สนใจสามารถศึกษาข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมและกรอกใบสมัครออนไลน์ผ่านเว็บไซต์ www.afterklass.com หรือ Line official account: @afterklass
นายรวีกล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า การแข่งขันแผนธุรกิจ START UP FOR BETTER SOCIETY HACKATHON 2022 จะเป็นเวทีให้เยาวชนได้เรียนรู้และประยุกต์ใช้ความสามารถของตนเองในการเป็นผู้ประกอบการและการทำธุรกิจในโลกยุคใหม่ ได้ปล่อยไอเดียสร้างสรรค์ ควบคู่กับการคิดเพื่อร่วมดูแลสังคม ผ่านโจทย์การพัฒนา และยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาคมโลกให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ตามเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals : SDGs) ขององค์กรสหประชาชาติและนับเป็นโครงการที่สอดคล้องกับเจตนารมย์ของธนาคารกสิกรไทย
KBank invites the new generation to join a boot camp to create business ideas and innovations for a sustainable society
Hackathon is back! KASIKORNBANK (KBank) invites all high school students nationwide to participate in a competition to create business ideas and innovations for a sustainable society under the STARTUP FOR BETTER SOCIETY HACKATHON 2022 project. The three-day boot camp will allow the younger generation to open the world by creating innovative startup ideas and pitching a business plan. Applications are open from now until August 27, 2022. Mr. Rawee Angthong, KBank Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Relations Department, said, “KBank is determined to promote education and development of Thai youths’ potential. To this end, we have continually organized activities under the AFTERKLASS brand with the aim of upgrading financial, career and learning skills of youths in response to their changing perspectives towards life and career opportunities. Being an entrepreneur and running a business have become the number one choice for most young people wishing to show their potential and capacity as business operators. High school students are increasingly participating in competitions to create business ideas and startup innovations in the form of a hackathon.
KBank therefore has organized a business plan competition, called STARTUP FOR BETTER SOCIETY HACKATHON 2022, in the form of a three-day boot camp for participants to learn about the fundamentals of business plan writing, while also competing in a hackathon, with the aim of mobilizing creative ideas to write a product or service business plan for a more livable and sustainable society. KBank believes that a good education system and environment in the country will help create capable personnel as an important force in developing and leading the country for sustainable growth.
Eligible applicants must be high school students, Mathayom 4-6 or equivalent, who did not already participate in the first- or second-year projects. Application must be in the form of a team only. Each team must consist of four to five members in three different areas, namely Business: business planning and management; Tech: digital system development; and Design: usability and UX/UI design. However, team members do not all need to be from the same school. Applications are invited from today until August 27, 2022, and the Hackathon Kamp Day activity will be held October 26-28, 2022. Mr. Rawee added that the STARTUP FOR BETTER SOCIETY HACKATHON 2022 will be a stage for youths to learn and apply their capabilities in being an entrepreneur and running a business in the new era. They can use their creative ideas along with initiatives to jointly take care of society, further developing and elevating the quality of life of the global community. The initiative is in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations as well as the business goals of KBank.
