บางจากฯ จำหน่าย “น้ำมันลดฝุ่น” 3 ปีต่อเนื่อง ผู้ผลิตรายแรกในประเทศไทยที่ร่วมบรรเทาปัญหา PM 2.5 ใน กทม. ด้วยดีเซลปริมาณกำมะถันระดับมาตรฐานยูโร 5 ราคาเท่าเดิม ตั้งแต่ปี 2562
บางจากฯ ผู้ริเริ่มจำหน่าย “น้ำมันลดฝุ่น” เป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยเมื่อปลายปี 2562 ด้วยการปรับคุณภาพน้ำมันดีเซลทุกชนิดใน กทม. เป็นปริมาณกำมะถันระดับมาตรฐานยูโร 5 ช่วยลดมลภาวะจากฝุ่น PM 2.5 จะจำหน่าย “น้ำมันลดฝุ่น” เป็นปีที่ 3 ติดต่อกัน ระหว่างวันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2564 ถึง 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 เพื่อเป็นการร่วมป้องกันปัญหาจากสถานการณ์ฝุ่นละอองขนาดเล็ก หรือ PM 2.5 ที่เพิ่มความรุนแรงขึ้นในช่วงปลายปีเป็นประจำทุกปี
ในระยะเวลา 3 ปีที่ผ่านมา บางจากฯ จะปรับคุณภาพน้ำมันดีเซลทุกลิตรที่จำหน่ายในสถานีบริการบางจากใน กทม. 130 สาขาเป็นดีเซลปริมาณกำมะถันต่ำ ระดับมาตรฐานยูโร 5 ที่ช่วยลดค่ากำมะถันลงถึง 5 เท่า (น้อยกว่า 10 ppm) จากผลการทดสอบในห้องปฏิบัติการ โดยจะจำหน่ายในราคาเท่าเดิมแม้จะมีต้นทุนในการผลิตสูงขึ้น ซึ่งการปรับลดปริมาณกำมะถันในน้ำมันดีเซลสามารถช่วยลดปัญหาฝุ่นละอองและก๊าซซัลเฟอร์ไดออกไซด์ได้ เพราะกำมะถันในน้ำมันเมื่อถูกเผาไหม้จะเกิดเป็นซัลเฟตและจับกับมลพิษอื่น ทำให้เกิดเป็นฝุ่น PM 2.5
นอกจากนี้ ตั้งแต่ 1 ตุลาคม 2564 – 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 ลูกค้าบางจากฯ เมื่อเติมน้ำมัน สามารถนำใบเสร็จไปรับบริการตรวจเช็คสภาพรถฟรี 11 รายการ พร้อมให้คำปรึกษาวิธีการดูแลให้เครื่องยนต์อยู่ในสภาพที่สมบูรณ์ เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้ปล่อยเขม่าที่เกิดจากการเผาไหม้ อันเป็นสาเหตุของ PM 2.5
ทั้งนี้ โรงกลั่นน้ำมันบางจากซึ่งเป็นโรงกลั่นแบบ Complex Refinery ที่ทันสมัย กำลังการผลิต 120,000 บาร์เรลต่อวัน สามารถผลิตน้ำมันกลุ่มเบนซินและกลุ่มดีเซลซึ่งเป็นน้ำมันที่มีมูลค่าสูงได้คุณภาพตามข้อกำหนดมาตรฐานยูโร 4 ของภาครัฐ นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นโรงกลั่นรายแรกในเอเชียที่ผลิตน้ำมันแก๊สโซฮอล์ E20 มาตรฐาน
ยูโร 5 ที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยในปัจจุบัน ผลิตภัณฑ์มาตรฐานยูโร 5 ของบางจากฯ ได้แก่ บางจากแก๊สโซฮอล์ E20S และบางจากไฮพรีเมียม ดีเซล S ซึ่งน้ำมันสองชนิดนี้นอกจากจะช่วยให้เครื่องยนต์สะอาด เผาไหม้ได้สมบูรณ์ เร่งได้แรงเต็มสมรรถนะเครื่องยนต์แล้ว ยังดีต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมด้วยมาตรฐานยูโร 5 อีกด้วย

Bangchak Retails “Dust Reducing Fuel” for 3rd Consecutive YearThe first Thai producer to address the PM 2.5 problem in Bangkok with same price low Sulphur Euro 5 Diesel since 2019
Bangchak first introduced Dust Reducing Fuel in 2019 by improving the quality of all diesel types in Bangkok to meet with the low Sulphur Euro 5 standard to reduce pollution from PM 2.5 dust particles, and will retail dust reducing fuel for the third consecutive year, from 15 November 2021 to 28 February 2022.
In an effort to prevent problems from the micro dust particles or PM 2.5, which grows in severity toward the end of the year, especially in the last 3 years, Bangchak will adjust the quality of diesel fuels in all Bangchak service stations in Bangkok to meet low Sulphur Euro 5 standards, with 5 times less Sulphur (less than 10 ppm) according to laboratory tests. The fuel will retail at the same price despite the increased production costs. The reduction of Sulphur in diesel help to reduce the problem of micro dust particles and Sulphur Dioxide, because the combustion of Sulphur creates sulphates that bind with other pollutants causing PM 2.5.
Furthermore, from 1 October 2021 to 28 February 2022, Bangchak customers can redeem their fuel receipts for 11 car checkup items for free, and receive advice on engine maintenance to prevent combustion fumes which causes PM 2.5.
Bangchak Refinery is a modern Complex Refinery with a daily production capacity of 120,000 barrels, capable of producing high-value gasoline and diesel products according to state Euro 4 standards. Additionally, it is the first Asian refinery to produce environmentally-friendly Euro 5 Gasohol E20.
