ดร.รักษ์ วรกิจโภคาทร กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารเพื่อการส่งออกและนำเข้าแห่งประเทศไทย (EXIM BANK) เปิดเผยว่า จากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดโควิด-19 ระลอกใหม่ทำให้ภาครัฐต้องจัดให้มีโรงพยาบาลสนามรองรับผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 ที่มีอาการไม่รุนแรงเพื่อควบคุมและป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของโรคสู่สังคม ขณะที่กรุงเทพมหานครเป็นหนึ่งในพื้นที่ควบคุมสูงสุดด้วยจำนวนผู้ติดเชื้อที่มีจำนวนมากขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง โรงพยาบาลสนามที่รองรับผู้ป่วยในกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑลจึงเริ่มทยอยรับผู้ป่วยตั้งแต่กลางเดือนเมษายน 2564 ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลสนามในสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร และโรงพยาบาลสนามธรรมศาสตร์ มีความต้องการอุปกรณ์เครื่องใช้จำเป็นจำนวนมากสำหรับบุคลากรทางการแพทย์และผู้ป่วย EXIM BANK จึงได้บริจาคของใช้จำเป็นให้แก่กรุงเทพมหานครและโรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์เฉลิมพระเกียรติ เพื่อร่วมสนับสนุนให้โรงพยาบาลสนามในสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานครและโรงพยาบาลสนามธรรมศาสตร์มีความพร้อมในการปฏิบัติงานเพื่อดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 ประกอบด้วย พัดลม ชุด PPE หน้ากากอนามัย เครื่องทำน้ำร้อน/เย็น และน้ำดื่ม เป็นมูลค่ารวม 200,000 บาท ภายใต้โครงการด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม (CSR) “EXIM เพื่อสุขภาพชุมชน”
“การสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานของโรงพยาบาลสนามในครั้งนี้ เป็นไปตามเจตนารมณ์ของ EXIM BANK ที่จะร่วมเสริมความพร้อมให้ Superhero ที่แท้จริงของพวกเรา ซึ่งได้แก่ บุคลากรทางการแพทย์และสาธารณสุขที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ด้วยความทุ่มเทและเสียสละ ช่วยเหลือให้ผู้ป่วยกลับมาใช้ชีวิตได้เป็นปกติ ตลอดจนสนับสนุนให้ทุกภาคส่วนก้าวผ่านวิกฤตของประเทศไปได้ด้วยดีเหมือนทุกวิกฤตที่ผ่านมา” ดร.รักษ์ กล่าว

EXIM Thailand Launches CSR Project to Support Field Hospitals for COVID-19 Patients
Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), revealed that, due to the new wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the government has set up field hospitals for treatment of COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms to control and prevent the virus spreading to the society at large. With Bangkok classified as one of the maximum controlled zones with consistently increasing infection cases, the field hospitals in Bangkok and Greater Bangkok have gradually had patients admitted since the middle of April 2021. These field hospitals include those under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)’s supervision and Thammasat Field Hospital. They are in need of a large number of consumables and medical equipment for medical personnel and patients. Therefore, EXIM Thailand has donated a number of these necessities worth 200,000 baht in total to the BMA and Thammasat University Hospital to support their field hospitals in accommodating and treating COVID-19 patients, comprising electric fans, PPE sets, N95 and medical face masks, hot & cold water dispensers and drinking water under the Bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) project titled “EXIM for Community Health.”
“This support for the operations of field hospitals is in line with EXIM Thailand’s objective to participate in enhancement of the preparedness of our true Superheroes, namely medical and public health personnel, who have all along performed their duties with dedication and commitment in order to help the patients recover and return to their normal life, and support all sectors in getting through this crisis just like other crises in the past,” added Dr. Rak.
